Transcend AirMist HME Cartridge

The AirMist HME Cartridge is a specialized foam component encased in a plastic shroud. It inserts into the AirMist HME Adapter to capture moisture from your breath and redistribute it into your therapy air. AirMist HME Cartridges should be replaced after 3 to 7 days of use and are not designed to be cleaned.

Compatibility Note:

• The Transcend HME Adapter is only compatible with the Micro Standard 6 ft Hose or Micro AirFlex 6 ft Hose.
• Transcend AirMist HMEs will not function with masks that have extended short tubing or top-of-head hose connections, such as:
    - AirFit P10
    - AirFit N20
    - ResMed Swift FX
    - AirFit F30i
    - DreamWear Masks
• The HME Adapter must be placed directly in front of your mask to effectively capture moisture from your breath.

Instructions for Installing the AirMist HME Adapter and AirMist HME Cartridge:

1. Remove the HME cartridge from the foil package. Handle it with the plastic shroud, not the foam core.
2. Unscrew the bottom part of the HME adapter from the top part.
3. Place the HME cartridge inside the bottom part of the HME adapter.
4. Reattach the top part of the HME adapter to the bottom part and gently turn until the adapter compresses around the HME cartridge.
5. Securely attach the bottom part of the HME adapter to your hose.
6. Securely attach the top part of the HME adapter to your mask.

Maintenance:

- The AirMist HME Cartridge is not cleanable and should be replaced after three to seven days of use.
- Clean the AirMist HME Adapter weekly or whenever you replace the AirMist HME Cartridge.
